Because corn cob is considerably less aggressive than mineral abrasives, it is classified as a “soft abrasive”. It is an excellent absorbent medium, suitable for polishing, drying, removing impurities, and cleaning metal and plastic components. It is fully biodegradable and does not stick to parts while removing moisture, oil, and grease, leaving a clean, polished finish.
